Léa Giordano is a visual artist and filmmaker based in
Amsterdam and Luxembourg. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree
in photography, she expanded her practice into experimental filmmaking
at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy. Her work moves fluidly between moving
image and photography, using the materiality of analog film as both
metaphor and medium to shape narratives and embrace the organic
evolution of her process.
Her practice explores themes of longing, belonging, melancholia,
nostalgia, abandonment, change, grief, acceptance, and the passing
of time. Through a meditative engagement with nature and the tactile
processes of analog film, Léa creates intimate spaces where emotion,
memory, and time intertwine.

photographer and filmmaker. She graduated from the École de Condé in Nancy, where she expanded her photographic practice to include moving
images.
Her projects deal primarily with sensitive topics, such as social injustice
